“Have a Go” sessions are at 12:30pm on the first Sunday of the month, Feb-Nov only.

Please note that the minimum age is 10 years old. Although children are welcome to participate, we do not run child-only activities or events. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

After attending a have-a-go session you will receive information about signing up for a beginner's course.

We run two beginners courses:

Indoor: Wednesday from approx 4:30pm until 5:30pm at the Kapiti College school hall. 

Outdoor: Usually Saturday (can be flexible) morning at the outdoor range at 128 Mahaki Road, Nikau Valley. This is usually 5-6 Sessions.

Please note you can bring your own gear for assessment, however we are unable to accommodate crossbows at our club.
